ERNiCrMo-3 is used for the welding of Inconel alloy 625,Incoloy alloy 825,Incoloy alloy 25-6MO,and other molybde-num-containing stainless steels. This filler metal is also used for surfacing of steel,for welding nickel steels,and for welding various corrosion-resistant alloys such as alloy 20.The weld metal of ERNiCrMo-3 has high strength over a broad temperature range and has exceptional corrosion resistance,including resistance to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion.ERNiCrMo-3 is useful for many dissimilar joints involving Inconel and Incoloy alloys,carbon steels, low-alloy steels, and stainless steels.
